The Cuentazos con efectazos team contacted me along with Andrés Cuevas (Animator) for the realization of a chapter for the aforementioned series. One of their goals is to have new techniques and styles each chapter so we had a lot of freedom to propose. They gave us a month and a half so together with Andres we developed some character sketches and the respective storyboard; on my side I started to propose a color palette and a color script as a base to start working. Then began the production stage that took most of the time, which was developed along with the animation.
Character Design
Our main characters were Juliana, her grandmother, her siblings and the monsters. This style is inspired by animations like Mansion Foster with a modern twist.
Storyboard
Together with the animator we developed a storyboard sketch that I then polished thinking about composition and expressions.
