Yippee Ki Yay Yo was a project developed in early 2021 in which we had a lot of creative freedom from the client since he only wanted to have a good Cowboys video. This meant for the whole team an exploration of the limits of our skills, always looking to propose the best from our professional criteria. I have never learned as much as this project as an art director.

COLOR SCRIPT
When I entered the project the character designs were already ready, it was my job as art director and background designer to propose two Key Visuals for the client to make a decision on the style. Once the artwork was chosen I was coordinating with two background artists, the clean director and the director for the color proposal. I first developed the Color Script and at the same time I coordinated with the two background artists the sketches of the respective backgrounds.
BACKGROUNDS
Once the color was approved I gave clean an art guide and we started to apply color to the sketches we already had. After finishing the backgrounds stage, I kept an eye on clean's work and coordinated with the composition director for the treatment he had planned.
Illustration
At the same time the director told me that he wanted to make some illustrations for the credits, so once I finished my technical work as director I made these illustrations, however I did not stop being aware of the project as a whole.
